How Will Your Child Benefit from Drama?
Drama gives children regular opportunities to speak, listen, imagine and work with others. Our Monday classes run at Merton Park Primary School between 4pm and 7pm, with a one-hour session for each age group, and our Saturday Performing Arts Programme runs at St Mary’s Church Hall from 10.15am to 1.15pm.
What your child will do
- Explore ideas through role-play, stories and drama games
- Practise speaking clearly and listening to other performers
- Collaborate on creative activities and performances
- Reflect on their progress and identify skills they want to develop
What your child will gain
- Confidence: the chance to contribute, try out ideas and see their own progress
- Communication: expressing themselves clearly, listening and responding
- Teamwork: making decisions together and working towards a shared performance
- Creativity: space to imagine characters, situations and different possibilities
- Friendships: new friends outside their usual school group
These skills grow week by week. A child might share an idea for a scene, remember a cue or support another performer, and every small step helps build their confidence.

What Parents Say
My daughter enjoys a lot in the class of Reflect Productions. She builds up confidence and communication with others through the drama practice.
My daughters both attend reflect productions drama club and it has done wonders for their confidence. The eldest has been attending for 9 years and given the choice between reflect and another local group, she picked reflect. My youngest has trouble speaking in public and thanks to the nurture and perseverance of the team she can say her lines in front of the audience. I can't recommend them enough.
We have been part of the Reflect ‘family’ for a few years now. Our children have loved every minute of their time there and we have seen their confidence grow and them flourish as a result. Highly recommend this wonderful and inclusive club.
My daughter has attended Reflect Productions for 8 years with Kirsty, Leyton and team. They are super dedicated, highly professional and pay such attention to detail not just in Performance skills but also nurturing each individual young person's own talents. Over the year's I have not only seen my daughter progress but all in her group. I would definitely recommend Reflect and the team for anyone wanting their child to develop life long skills and and have alot of fun with it!
Highly Recommend!! Fantastic classes in drama which also contain lots of singing and dancing. The teaching is superb and the quality of end of term shows and big scale productions is of a really high standard. Much prefer this over Stagecoach or similar schools as at Reflect they create a far nicer supportive, caring atmosphere where the main focus is the development of key life skills such as building confidence!
All 3 of our kids have been to Reflect drama classes with Kirsty and have got loads out of it - forming bonds and a sense of community as well as growing in confidence and having fun!
Reflect Productions are a wonderful theatre and dramatic arts company who deeply care about their students and have instilled so much confidence in my daughter, whilst being a fun and enjoyable way to develop her passion for the stage. Highly recommended.
My son and daughter attend Reflect Saturday morning classes and really enjoy the acting, singing and dancing. Both have gained so much confidence and learnt how to express themselves onstage. They’ve made lovely new friends and enjoy learning tips and tricks from the Reflect team. As parents, we absolutely love seeing the results of their hard work in the end of term shows. Thanks to Kirsty and team for the great classes.
My daughter really loved and enjoyed every sessions with Leyton. His so amazing throughout the journey for my daughter development, confident, acting etc. It was brilliant. Well recommended.
